Classic Era SoftRes Raid rolls

Just a Point

JustaPoint is a loot system that enhances soft-reserve to reward regular attendance! Every time you reserve an item but don't win it, you build points that boost your roll when the item drops!

No DKP. No loot council. No in-game login.

Addon: live rolling

Why JustaPoint

Pure SoftRes is fair for one night. Groups raid for months.

JustaPoint is for groups that like SoftRes but want repeated reserves on the same item to build a clear, transparent advantage over time.

SoftRes forgets history

A raider can reserve the same item for weeks, lose every roll, and still be level with someone who showed up tonight.

DKP is too much system

Loot economies, decay, officer rulings and spreadsheets are heavier than most Classic SoftRes groups want to run.

JustaPoint keeps the middle ground

Keep SoftRes and /roll, but give regulars a transparent, item-specific bonus that grows over time.

Actual product screens

The site stores the memory. The addon handles the pull.

Officer tables, tracked items, raid imports, readiness checks, and a Rolling window that does the live math.

Website: points standings
Public per-item standings show who has priority — without requiring players to log in.
Website: tracked items
Officers choose which drops earn points and control the order shown on the public page, grouped by instance.
Addon: import tonight's raid
Paste the website export into the addon before raid; the roster, reserves, points and rules load together.
Addon: raid readiness
Check who is in raid, who reserved, and who is missing required buffs before loot starts.
Addon: roll penalties
Apply buff-related penalties or manual roll modifiers before they're used in live rolls.
Addon: end-of-raid export
Copy wins and penalties back to the website so item balances roll forward correctly.

How it works

Copy, paste, roll, export.

Officers do a small amount of setup before and after raid. During loot, the addon does the visible work: it watches Gargul, applies points and penalties, then shows the result clearly.

1 Import SoftRes on the website
2 Export tonight's paste-blob
3 Paste into the addon before pulls
4 Check roster and buffs
5 Let Gargul run the roll
6 JustAPoint sorts the result live
7 Export wins and penalties back to the site

Officer toolkit

Everything past the public points page.

Per-player history, the raw event ledger, and a member roster — built so loot questions get answered with a link, not a screenshot of chat.

Website: player history
Per-player view of every reserve, win, and balance shift — what your raiders point you at when they want to know why their pile shrank.
Website: event ledger
Every SR, WIN, and BAS row with a points-spent column on each win — the source of truth behind every standing.
Website: members
Owners invite officers by email and manage roles. Membership is the only thing that gates write access.

Getting started

From zero to your first raid in three steps.

A group officer needs to do all three the first time. Steps one and two get easier every week after that — by raid three, the every-night loop is about three minutes of website work.

  1. 01

    Pick tracked items

Open Admin → Items, bulk-track an instance (Molten Core, BWL, Naxx…), trim the list to the slots your group actually rolls on, and reorder by importance.

Untracked drops never earn points and don't clutter the standings page.

  2. 02

    Create the raid

In Admin → Raids, hit New Raid, paste the SoftRes link, and click Fetch from SoftRes. Reserves come in pre-tagged with each player's current points balance.

Click JustAPoint Addon to copy the paste-blob you'll take in-game.

  3. 03

    Paste wins back

In WoW: /jpImport → paste. The addon handles reserves, rolls, and buff penalties for the night.

After the raid, copy from the End-of-raid tab and paste back into tonight's raid card on the website. Standings update.

A raid night, end to end

Why it lands

A tool raid officers already understand.

The screenshots do most of the selling. Standings players can check, configuration officers can control, and a Rolling window that takes the live loot math off the loot caller's plate.

Public standings for raiders
Tracked-item setup for officers
Gargul-aware rolling window
Raid readiness and buff penalties
End-of-raid export back to the site
Copy-paste sync — no API tokens
Addon: welcome and explanation
What players see the first time they /jp in-game — the same plain-English pitch they'd read on the website.
